Guess what ... I feel bad ... I haven't posted anything in so long ... Sooooooooo here we go!!!!!!! Get ready for an extra long post!

Considering I'm at work and meant to be doing work, lets talk about work first!!!

Still loving working for Johnson & Johnson ... Really really good company to work for and the company, as in co-workers, is amazing!!!

I have been doing a bit of this and that really. Before Christmas I was helping to get rid of a lot of old equipment ... Backing up and wiping then loading it in to the back of a van for some strange guys to whiz down to London with it!

It was alright, fairly fun throwing old PC's, printers, PDAs, ect ... around. I was also helping tidying up the remains of the upgrade to XP. sorting out bugs and such only to find out that in 2011 they are going to just upgrade all over again to Windows 7 .... Good move but would of been better just to wait for windows 7 I reckon but oh well! will be easy to change from XP to 7 than it would of been to change from 2000 to 7 ... that would of been insane i guess!!!!

So i went back to Plymouth to spend Christmas/New Year with the friends and family (I will talk about Christmas in a bit, Calm down dear! This is about work!) had a great time and returned to work in Pencoed on the service desk. This was pretty fun ... Learnt a few things and met a few new people! But as of today i am back in Cardiff working hard on my programming. Once I got through my 94 emails that is!!!!!

Ok so Life .......

Christmas was pretty good. I had to work on Christmas eve till 11 and then shot off back to Plymouth. I was really tired when i got back but that didn't stop be from getting together with a few my best mates and heading over to the local for a few pints!!! It was good to catch up really. Christmas day was pretty cool... Lots of presents and turkey with a bit of TV and cider to top it off... Every that makes Christmas good. Didn't do much on boxing day. Just had a chilled out day ... Then the Sunday came ... I picked up the twins and we head out to Kingston.... Good friends ... Great booze and a board game ... What more can I say... I drank 34 units of alcohol. Heavy night but will not be one I will be forgetting any time soon...

New Year eve .... Epic ..... It was a very late night ... some very crazy stuff happened ........ nothing I will talk about here but it was amazing!!

Then it was back to work for a week before it happened!!!!!

The Week Of Pain!

Yes due to the fact I'm greedy i decided that for my birthday ... I wouldn't just have one night of celebration.. Oh no ... This was my 21st birthday and for that ...... It has to be a week long!!!!!! And very painful ....... and it was!!!!!

It started on the Friday in Cardiff. It was crazy good!!! I got a proper good start off with my welsh friends! Then i chilled on the Saturday and Sunday.

Started drinking once again on the Monday.

Tuesday - Grill night. Ended up getting the Large mix grill from wetherspoons ... Its for light weigh cause I ate it easily with my 2 pints of strongbow and extra peppercorn sauce recommended by my Cornish friend!

Wednesday - The birthday... It didn't start till 9 as i was spend some time with my mum ... Plus my brother, sister in law and my niece decided to come down and live it up with me I was so happy!
We had a little party at my mums.... mainly so my niece could "Help" open my presents and blow out my candles. The smile on her face was a great birthday present by its self.

My brother and sister decided to come out and celebrate with me even tho they weren't really feeling it and my brother never been a big drinker!

My sister had to go home as she was falling asleep! I don't blame her ... she had a really long day!!!!!
My brother how ever ...... Decided if he was going to drink ... to drink like a student ........ He was ill for 2 days after my birthday. Although he was drunk he said some very nice words that hit me deep down ... Stuff like how I make him so proud and I'm showing him the way that makes him want to get his life sorted out ... I dunno if he'll read this but that meant so much to me! Love you bro!

Thursday - This was a quiet day as i was hanging... Curry night at witherspoons, few pints and a early night.

Friday - Went around the barbican and ended in JSV

Saturday - I couldn't move... I had no energy at all! So we stayed in and played games and watched movies... . and a few episodes of house as well!!!!

Sunday - I can't even remember what happened on Sunday :S

Well lets talk about work first .... the boring subject ... or is it!?

I have be crazy busy at the moment, rolling out machines and helping users so i'm loving it... its better than watching videos... not matter how good they are!

Also as well as project velocity ( Thats the name of the main project i'm on... Just upgrading machines pretty much from W2000 to XP ... with a little extra work!!!), i also have a side project which i have named "project get shit working!".
It is a son of a bitch... only really started getting in to it today but i think i will have fun... its all about getting a database reporting system to work on windows XP and in Access 2007! lots of re-writting SQL statements and other thing ... its fun right!? *twich twich*

I'm also meeting some class poeple at work... The team leader is call Andy and he is a funny perverted man ... So my kinda of fella hahahaha ! He is funny and brightens up the day which is all good!

Mel is pretty cool as well and is helping me get to grips with everything ...

Then comes the Cool clan ....

Chris is the guy behind the velocity project and the main guy i run too when i need advice. He is the funniest guy i have ever met main due to the fact he is also known as Mystikal from GLC (Goldie Lookin Chain) which is pretty coool. I really want to go to one of their gigs now!

Then there is Nick ... Nick is funny ... He is scotish and also the son of the Managing Director of OCD (the part of JnJ i work for). Now i have nothing against the scotish ... but nothing is as funny as Nick's Cardiff Paki Taxi driver talk ... It is classic ... Mainly because he has a strong scotish accent anyway then tries to put on a welsh one and tops it with a paki one ... i can't stop my self from laughing. Shame he won't be about for much longer!

Alex is chris's partner in crime and they help each other out and do pretty much the same thing from what i can tell!? Alex is the kinda laid back ... doesn't give a fuck but will make you piss your self laughing kinda guy! ? If that makes sense!??

Then last but not least (Well last of the peeps i'm going to write about... else i'll be here all day)

SiWalker was born on a planet far far awa.... Sorry not the time or the place!

Siwalker A.K.A Simon or Si for short is a rad motha fucker if i do say so my self! Which i do!
He is the guy who looks after me the most in cardiff. Invites me around to meet people and be social ... tries to get me drunk ... Takes my money... its all good! I like Si... He has pretty cool music tastes alot like me!

Well i thin that enough about work ...

So cardiff is growing on me... I am learning my way around although i still need to just go out and explore the pubs and sights although the sights i think i will save.

Well i'm still missing my family and friends from plymouth ... Still a little home sick but not as much as i was... mainly because the twins came up and stayed with me for a week which was coool ...

Anyway there is lots of stuff atm that is making me feel meh ... I keep the rest for another time when i feel like i need to vent some more ...

Ok so last week was all in all pretty shocking and not much of an improvement of the first week!

But i have high hopes that this week will be better in till i'm start bored in work next week and post about how lame this week was and how the forth coming will will be better I see an endless pattern beginning.

Ok before i start depressing my self, The weekend!

Friday was pretty standard, had a quiet evening with my xbox 360 and PC Chatted to a few people, chilled out, did some reding so it was a pretty good evening in the grand scheme of things. Saturday, i enjoyed by lay in and finely dragged my self out of bed, to the shower, to the sofa for most of the rest of the day watching movies and tv shows! Oh how hard life truely is!!! In the evening i meant up with a guy from work, he invited me around his, with his GF and a few other friends of theirs for a meal. It was nice, i got to meet people, have a few drinks, play with 2 kittens (OMG sooooo cute!) and of course, eat curry!

After i got home i looked at my crate of Brothers cider and thought it would be a waste to leave a crate with a few bottle left in it.... So i ended up drinking the rest while chatting to folks on the internet and playing fable 2 ...

Sunday i felt the after effects of drinking the crate... Oh how it felt lovely. I ended up dying on my sofa (A bit over the top... i wasn't that bad but i was enjoying the lazy day).

I was taking it slow till i notice that Gay Craig over took my Gamer score on xbox live! This could not be allowed! I had to put a stop to that at once... Loaded up the games and playted till i was 205 points in front of him. I feel the race is on and i will have to try to keep ahead of him now. Its going to be a long year! With wild battles and if i lost... I'll just break his damn xbox!

I found out i get paid a week today... thank god... i am both running low on funds and in need of money for such things as bills (rent and water and what not)... Although i wish i got paid this week as i got a friend coming up on thursday and i wanna show her a good time then i'm going out with the guys from work to a rugby match on friday night... and then Rico is up on saturday for a week so i have to go out saturday night as well! I should look in to where the good places are!!! And clean the flat... considering over the next 2 weeks i could have up to 4 people (3 at one time) visiting me i guess i should make sure its tidy.

And thinking of tidy i just remember i forgot to take the rubbish out this mornin! The bins get collected today as well! Dam it!!! I blame you! Yes you the reader. its your fault! I don't know how or why, but somehow you did this!

On that note i will leave you to feeling guilty

Last weekend was alright I guess ...

Friday Night - I got drunk in my flat and watched red dwarf

Saturday - During the day I went for a walk in to town for the first time. I got very lost but in my travels I found some pretty cool shops and got some stuff for my self including a new top from fat face and 2 new books, The Zombie Survival Guide which is an amazing book but a little scary. It includes alot of detail! Weapons guides, food guides and attack/defence ideas !!! Sooo coool !!!

The other book I got was a fanasty book I have been hearding alot about. Its a trilogy so I thought I would give the first book ago. The trilogy is call The Black Magician series, its by Trudi Canavan. The first book it called The Magicians' Guild and from what i've read so far its pretty good! Still only about 80-90 pages in but its getting there.

In the evening and well most the afternoon i got drunk, by my self, in my flat, alone.

Till i got annoyied and ended up going to the pub up the road. It was ok. I walked in to the old man's side at first. There were like 7 guys in there all old enough to be my dad or grand dad... I quickly changed to the other half of the pub. It was packed. I waited about 10 minutes for a drink. Then set off to try and meet some people. Which proved harder than i first thought as there was a live band playing ... really loud so talking was out of the question and i didn't feel like sending hand signal to girls and getting slapped... Or to guys and getting my head kicked it so i just stood there and took in what a saw which was mostly people in their 40's trying to be coool and loving the music. It was about 50/50 old/young so it wasn't too bad. There was some young eye candy to look at which made me smile! Some small girl with boobs that must of been fake coz she was about 5ft a size 8 and like double G's ... they were over flowing! Feel sorry for her spine ... and her BF. If she rolled over in the night, he would be crushed by boobies! Meh i guess there are worst ways to go!!!

After about an hour of being lame and standing at the bar solo i decided it was time to go home and play xbox with GC. It was ok ...

Sunday - Not alot happened sunday. I did washing and cleaned up. Chatted to friends and spent more money i couldn't afford to spend but did it anyway!

This time on a 1 TB External USB HDD. Ok this would be handy as it would be easier to transfer stuff to friends and down to plymouth. I also only have about 200GB space left.. out of 1.5 TB !!! So i could do with the storage!

I also paid for me and a friend to go see a band! The Used! I just started listening to them and they are really good! They are like emo screamo punk(o) rock(o) ;-D

Loooking forward to it and when i get paid i'm going to buy tickets to Rise Against and pay Megan for my ticket to see Muse!

Yet another amazing thing is that its my really really good (even could be classed as best! She got me a Muse ticket!) friend, megan, is having a kick ass party on her farm for her 21st in september so its something to look forward too! I'm going to camp in a field!!! rock out and get wasted! Not too wasted tho! I don't think it would be liked if i threw up all over the dogs !!! Hahaha!!!

Work is pretty coool! Got to go to the clean room and stuff yesturday! Thinking about it work yesturday was pretty cool! I wasn't sat around bored... I was doing something! I even got my hopes up that it would pick up but as i write this its 10:52 am and so far all i have done is sat in a room by my self with nothing to do apart from watch video's! How good is my life! I want to kill my self! If it was good videos it would be so bad but its mind numbing video's... The kind were you wish there was some paint to watch dry because it would be more entertaining!

I'll leave you with this simple thought! Your life can not be any worst than mine !!! Unless your a drug user, being abuse, have cancer, have H.I.V/ aids, are 14 and have 3 kids (Deserved!!! Have a shit life)... Being raped as i write this ... or all the other stuff that is worst! As you can see i have gone very mad and crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy !

In the pass 3 days all i have done is watch training videos from LearnItFirst.com and don't get me wrong, the videos are very good and i'm learning alot but i don't even have admin rights on my machine so i can't install any software to help me along with the learning processes.... and watching videos for 20 hours... ok it may sound like a easy way to get money but there is only so much C# and Mircosoft VS any one man can take in a week!!!

I hope next week i get to do something else, hell i would take un packing and setting up the odd machine... dealing with an anal boss who won't listen as you try and show him something... at least something to break up the 8 hours (Lets say 6 hours... due to breaks and just not doing any work) of video watching a day which is killing me.... I am getting to the point where i am finding that Scott Whigham's (The instrustor on the videos) voice is driving me mad and a physically want to hurt the man... It not fair on me or him because i'm sure he is a very nice chap!

At least i got the weekend to look forward to now. Oh yes... being alone with no one to physically talk to for 2 days straight! Just what the doctor ordered right!? WRONG!

I am not going to sit in and bore my self to death this weekend... Instead i'm going to be a loser and lame and i'm going to go out in to town shopping by my self and then i'm going to go home and get changed and then... go to the pub and drink untill my wallet is empty and bladder is full ... hopefully along the way i will avoid the ATM for my banks sake and meet some people ... i don't care what sex or what they are in too .. hell i'll take a chav right now as long as i can say i have a friend in the crazy messed up place know as Cardiff!

At least i think me and all the guys from work are going out this month at some point and me and one of the guys are going to go to a rugby match will be sweet!!!

Any way i'll leave you with my rambling as it just taken me 15 minutes to right this post so i'm ever so close to going home!

I think its finally started to settle in ... I'm alone! Hence the cool poem above!

Don't get me wrong... Work is going good and only getting better now i have stuff to do and to focus on. The guys i work with are amazing!!! They are funny and ... smart ... kinda hahaha they have their moments but its still not the same. I have friends online and talk to people i am close to but i have no friends here. No one is person. Online is good don't get me wrong... But being stood in fron of someone ... Being able to smell them and see and touch ... Thats what makes the differents. At the moment all that seems to happen is i go to work and then come home... chill... talk to people online ... go to bed and repeat ... yeah i know its only the first week but still its crazy! i think its going to drive me crazy!

But we will see what happens.

All in all it was ok ... a bit boring but its not there fault .... So here is the break down....

Before i started work i tried getting to work a few times to try and get the timings for when i started. It took me 40 minutes.

This morning it took me 17 minutes ...

I was not happy

So after sitting in the asda car parking eating my Mc D's breakfast, i drove down the hill to the security gate and told them i was a new employee and this was my first day.

I got a car pass and vistor badge. Not too bad so far huh ???

Then i got pulled over and my car got search because the site is on high alert because its a nuclear site ...

I can deal with the car search ... got nothing to hide!

Then i had the fun stuff ... paper work from HR to read and sign ... about 67 pages ... i wasn't counting hahaha

Then an hour of training videos.... ok i was still alive at this point ... i got my id card maded with a lovely photo... Yeah right hahaha

Then when out to my car to find out my number plate as i wasn't sure of it off the top of my head, came back to the building.

Tried to swip my self back in to the build to get the message...

"Access Denied.
Card Blocked."

So i was locked out ... How good is that!

So i got a temp card atm that works untill security fix my card.

Then i went off and met the team and my boss. That was ok. Half the team was n holiday or not in the office tho. So i had a sweet desk, but no machine .... no user account and about another 50 A4 pages to read. Still not too bad. I also did a fairly easy job of going in to the stock room and writing down the serial number of every tower and laptop in there ... about 100. not too bad right!?

Then my bosses went for a meeting and left me with nothing to do ... so for 3 hours i sat at my desk with nothing to do or anything to do!? Do you know how boring that is!?

Thats the first day tho... Its done now... Its over and Tomorrow should be better. I'm meeting my boss at our site and he is taking me to the second site where i will also be working. It sounds good!
