You dont have to worry about ur ex, ur moving to Cardiff and she is staying here. If keeping the stuff is to painful give her back the stuff. Everything will work out ok. You will have time to fit everything in.

It is understandable that you are worried about moving away and starting a new. But I really do believe that you will be fine. You are a smart, friendly guy who is a lot of fun and you will have no problem making friends. As for the people you leave behind, everyone will still be here when you come to visit and everyone will come see you. The friends you have will not just turn their back on you because you have moved away for a year, there friends you will have for life. You will love your new job and you will meet loads of new people. But if things go bad and you are feeling lonely and need some company their are always lots of ppl down here that will come stay with you :) Places looks great aswell :)
